What Are Innovation Hubs?

According to the AfriLabs and Briter Bridges ecosystem report, an innovation hub is a community and learning centre that fosters innovative ideas and market disruption. These hubs support creative problem-solving through on-ground support and consultancy throughout the start-up lifecycle. They are centres that offer support to African entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, and youths. By providing physical co-working spaces, dedicated office spaces, inclusive training, and business, legal, and financial support, they help in fostering successful entrepreneurs who will create jobs and develop innovative African-centered solutions.

Our network offers members the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and network with other African innovators, entrepreneurs, developers, educators, and stakeholders. Membership Criteria

Be located in Africa.
Be registered as a legal entity.
Being operational for at least six (6) months prior to your application.
Have a physical and accessible workspace.
Run an incubation and/or acceleration programme geared towards startups.
Maintain a focus on at least one or more of the following; technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Be willing to pay a membership fee of $500 per annum.

The AfriLabs Corporate Affiliate Program allows corporate organizations to join the growing AfriLabs network as partners.
